Please note, subsequent to routine third party testing of lifejacket lights by Market Surveillance division of Bundesamt für Seeschifffahrt und Hydrographie (BSH), two batches of AquaSpec AQ02 lifejacket lights have been identified as falling below the minimum luminous intensity output of .75cd after seven and a half hours continuous activation.
AquaSpec products are approved under Marine Equipment Directive (MED) module D through MCA notified body, British Standards Institute (BSI). AquaSpec Limited is working with both BSH and BSI in order to rectify the discrepancy between measured light output test results, however in the meantime it has been agreed that product from the following two batches will be subject to a voluntary recall:
